Xcitium Endpoint Security India
The only endpoint platform built on ZeroDwell Containment — unknown threats run in a virtual container and cannot touch your real systems, making zero-day and ransomware attacks structurally impossible.
- Zero dwell time — threats contained before execution, not after
- EDR + Open XDR in one cloud-managed platform

Why ZeroDwell Changes Everything
Every other endpoint product tries to detect threats before they cause damage. Xcitium prevents execution — a fundamentally different and stronger architecture.
File or Process Launches
A user opens a file or an application starts. Xcitium instantly classifies it as Trusted, Untrusted or Unknown.
Unknown = Automatically Contained
Unknown files run in a patented virtual container — isolated from the real file system, registry and network. No damage is possible. No decision is needed.
Valkyrie Analysis — Zero Dwell
Xcitium Valkyrie analyses the file using AI and human threat intelligence. If malicious — the real machine was never touched. If clean — released to run normally.
Result: Zero-day ransomware, fileless attacks and never-before-seen malware cannot execute on the real machine — because unknown processes never access real resources. The threat either gets verified clean or is quarantined without having touched a single real file.
Full EDR & XDR Protection Platform
ZeroDwell Containment is the foundation — Xcitium builds a complete EDR and Open XDR platform on top of it.
ZeroDwell Containment
Every unknown file and process runs inside a patented virtual container. It cannot write to the real file system, modify the registry or communicate on the real network until Xcitium verifies it is safe — zero dwell time for threats.
EDR — Endpoint Detection & Response
Full endpoint telemetry, threat hunting, attack timeline visualisation and one-click remediation. Detect lateral movement, privilege escalation and fileless attacks across all managed devices.
Open XDR
Xcitium Open XDR correlates telemetry from endpoints, network, cloud and third-party security tools into a unified timeline — exposing multi-stage attacks that individual tools would miss.
Auto-Containment
Application control enforced automatically. Untrusted applications run contained by default — IT teams can whitelist trusted software, ensuring productivity without expanding the attack surface.
AI-Powered Threat Analysis
Xcitium's Valkyrie cloud analysis platform assesses contained files using AI and human threat intelligence — files are verified clean or flagged malicious in real time.
Centralised Management Console
Xcitium Dragon Platform provides a single cloud-based console for endpoint policy management, alert triage, containment review and compliance reporting across your entire organisation.
Web Filtering & DNS Protection
Block malicious domains, phishing URLs and command-and-control callouts at the DNS layer — stops ransomware callbacks and drive-by downloads before they reach the endpoint.
Vulnerability Assessment
Continuously scan all endpoints for unpatched OS and application vulnerabilities. Prioritised reports show which gaps attackers are most likely to exploit, so remediation is focused.
MDR — Managed Detection & Response
Xcitium SOC provides 24×7 human-in-the-loop threat monitoring and response as an optional managed service — ideal for Indian businesses without dedicated security analysts.
EDR and XDR — One Platform, Two Layers
Xcitium delivers both endpoint detection and extended detection in a single cloud console — no separate XDR purchase required.

Xcitium vs Traditional Endpoint Security
Detection-based and containment-based security have fundamentally different threat models.
| Factor | Xcitium (ZeroDwell) | Traditional AV / EPP |
|---|---|---|
| Zero-day ransomware protection | ✓ Contained before execution | ✗ Depends on detection |
| Fileless / memory-based attacks | ✓ Process contained | ✗ Difficult to detect |
| Unknown malware (first 24 hrs) | ✓ Structurally prevented | ✗ May execute before update |
| Dwell time for new threats | Zero — contained immediately | Hours to days |
| False positive risk | Low — contained, not blocked | Can block legitimate files |
| EDR telemetry & threat hunting | ✓ Full EDR included | Varies — often limited |
| XDR (cross-tool correlation) | ✓ Open XDR built in | Usually not included |
| 24×7 MDR managed service | ✓ Available | Varies by vendor |
| Cloud-managed console | ✓ Xcitium Dragon (SaaS) | Varies |
| Integration with SIEM/SOAR | ✓ 200+ integrations | Varies |

Frequently Asked Questions
ZeroDwell Containment is Xcitium's patented approach to endpoint security. Instead of trying to detect malware before it runs — which signature and heuristic engines can fail at — Xcitium automatically runs every unknown file and process in a lightweight virtual container. Inside the container, the file cannot access the real file system, registry or network. It is structurally isolated until Xcitium's Valkyrie platform verifies it is safe. This means zero-day ransomware and fileless attacks simply cannot cause damage on the real machine, regardless of whether they are 'detected' or not.
Bitdefender and Seqrite are detection-based endpoint products — they use signatures, heuristics and machine learning to identify malware before it causes damage. This approach has a fundamental weakness: for new, unknown threats (zero-days), there is always a window where the threat runs before it is identified. Xcitium's architecture eliminates that window. Unknown processes cannot execute on real system resources at all — they are contained first, analysed second. If the file turns out to be malware, the real machine was never touched. If it is clean, it runs normally after verification.
Xcitium Open XDR is an extended detection and response platform that consolidates telemetry from Xcitium endpoint agents alongside data from other security tools — firewalls, SIEM, cloud security, email gateways — into a single correlated view. It detects multi-stage attacks that no single tool would catch alone: for example, a phishing email that leads to credential theft, lateral movement and eventual ransomware deployment. Open XDR gives security teams full attack timeline visibility and automated response playbooks.
Yes. Xcitium Endpoint Security is available as a cloud-managed SaaS product — there is no on-premises server to maintain. Businesses of any size can deploy agents to Windows, Mac and Linux devices and manage everything from the Xcitium Dragon web console. For small businesses without a security team, Xcitium also offers its MDR/SOC managed service so a professional team monitors their environment 24×7.
Xcitium Dragon is the cloud-native management platform that hosts the Xcitium endpoint security console, the Open XDR dashboard, the Valkyrie file analysis portal and the MDR SOC interface. It is multi-tenant, role-based and accessible from any browser. For Indian businesses, Dragon Platform means no on-premises management infrastructure is required — the console is always available, always up to date.
Yes. Xcitium Endpoint Security and Xcitium Open XDR licences are available through Cloudfy Systems — authorised Xcitium partner in India — with valid 18% GST invoices for Input Tax Credit claims. Licensing is available in INR with annual subscription options.
Yes. Xcitium Open XDR is designed to be open — it integrates with Splunk, IBM QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel, Palo Alto Cortex, CrowdStrike and dozens of other platforms via API.
